Milk & Blood

Milk & Blood aims to raise awareness of women suffering in relative silence due to issues with their reproductive health, whilst also discussing the taboo stereotype on the subject of menstruation. Drawing on my own personal experience - as a young woman awaiting a diagnosis for the chronic illness, endometriosis - this collective of work reflects a painful ongoing journey to discover answers about my uterus. Proudly exhibiting my blood and the powerful art of menstruation for everyone to see - this body of work shows the reality and beauty of the organ, whilst also reflecting a painful, dark truth.
